It is indeed very difficult to try to explain this outstanding mansion, overlooking a spectacular '' TUSCANY-like '' view (Yakakoy valley) and the Gökova Bay further out.

It is a work of art ! It has been decorated to a very high standard. Each corner, each painting, every detail express taste and originality. The rooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen, have all been decorated in an elegant style reflecting the modest and yet sophisticated taste of the owners. In every corner of the mansion you clearly feel the care  and thought put into making this place a very special  home to be enjoyed fully throughout the year!

The 1600 sq meter mansion is built on a 10 acre property, of which 1.5 acres have been landscaped with terraces, plants, trees and lawns while the remaining area is abundant  in pine and olive trees and richly planted with Mediterranean flora.

The two-storey mansion, with its terracotta-tiled roof, blends harmoniously with the surroundings, to create the beautiful atmosphere of a provincial home.

The ground floor is spacious and has high ceilings. The 65 sq meter grand dining room offers ample space for  formal/informal dining and is adjacent to a 80 sq meter fully fitted provincial kitchen with fire place and breakfast area.

The living area is 150 sq meters elegantly furnished with a large fire place. On this floor there is also a separate study area, a billiards room and a sauna.

There is a twin-bedroom on this floor with en suite facilities, satellite TV and air-conditioning.

The furnishing of the mansion is eclectic, with a predominance of earthern colours, combining English and French furniture -including some antiques, abstract paintings and Turkish carpets.

The second floor consists of a 100 sq meter master bedroom with a small kitchenette, changing room, balcony, satellite TV, air-conditioning and a great bathroom with jacuzzi overlooking the spectacular valley.

The second master bedroom is smaller and yet offers similar facilities except the jacuzzi !

There  are two more bedrooms,  twin-bedded with en suite facilities (shower), TV, air conditioning, balcony and walk-in cupboards.

The kidney-shaped swimming pool is 90 sq meters and is located off-centre amid rock outcrops and colourful plants including bougainvilleas, gazanias, oleanders and succulents. The pool overlooks the beautiful valley and beyond… 

The grounds and housekeeping are taken care of by the resident personnel who have separate living quarters.

This superb mansion truly offers top quality amenities in a very tranquil and totally secluded area of Bodrum and is only 40 minutes drive from the International airport of Bodrum.

This new property is a labor of love  and it took three years to build it. The building is of hand cut local stone with old terracotta embellishments. The walls are 50 cm thick. The built in area is approximately 300 sq. meters or about 3000 sq. feet. One comes into the parking area and faces the building but entry is via an 18^th Century, intricately carved, 3 meter high massive door set into a grand stone wall. This provides privacy from the parking area. One enters through this door and can either go into the main door of the house a few meters away or one can climb a few stairs to access a patio that will be under a 300 year old unique tree. The view is unparallel.

The house consists of an “open plan” living room that flows into the kitchen area. The kitchen is Italian Plan. Provision has been made for total comfort. The house is equipped with air conditioning for the summer months and antique cast iron radiators for the cold period. Furniture is either quality new furniture or 19th-20th century antique. Quality art is placed throughout the house. A staircase leads to the second floor where there is an ensuite bedroom on one side and the master ensuite bedroom on the other side. An open atrium separates the bedrooms. 

From the kitchen a door leads to the Summer-Winter room where in the summer the massive doors are open to enjoy the views. In the winter a fireplace allows you to relax in comfort. A door from this room leads to a patio with olive trees for shade and views to Samos Island in Greece.

The pool area consists of a kidney shaped fresh water pool and a seating/lounge area in “U” shape, outfitted with quality cushions. An 18^th century table sits ready to use for poolside dinners or lunches. The pool shower consists of a water line that flows through an antique amphora.

This spacious villa is located in a very tranquil area of Yaliciftlik - only ten minutes by car from the spectacular sea of Gokova.

With its own swimming pool (with a jacuzzi extension), Villa Anna offers ample space for up to 10 guests.

Tastefully decorated throughout, the villa consists of one master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, jacuzzi and balcony; one double and one twin bedroom with balcony sharing a shower/toilet on the second floor. The ground floor has a sitting and dining area with an open kitchen (fully fitted) and French windows opening out to the garden and pool; there is a further double bedroom with shower/toilet - purpose built for the disabled which has a separate entrance convenient for wheel-chairs.

There are also two sofa beds in the lounge.

A local couple from the village, who live in a small house next to the villa, will look after you during your stay. They will spoil you with freshly baked bread and fresh eggs every morning and even their own freshly produced butter  !!The villa is serviced daily and the linen is changed twice a week.

The surrounding countryside is beautiful: the hills covered with olive trees, fresh rosemary and thyme. Your natural music is the singing of the crickets and  the cicadas.

This is an ideal place for those looking for peace and tranquility complimented by natural surroundings. It is also an excellent starting point for hiking and ecological walks.

Car hire is recommended. However,  a ten minute walk down to the road will take you to the local minibus service to go to the beach (10 minutes) or to Bodrum (30 minutes).

This two storey house,Villa Arkan, is located up on a hill surrounded by beautiful 50 year old olive trees. It has all the facilities to accommodate up to 4/5 people.

Upstairs it has one double, one twin bedded room, shower and toilet, a spacious open plan kitchen and a lounge with French doors opening to a large terrace overlooking the hills covered with olive groves. All rooms and lounge are air-conditioned.

The ground floor consists of a large fully fitted kitchen, a sitting area, shower and toilet and opens up to the pool area. There is a good size swimming pool with wooden deck and a barbeque.

Villa Arkan is only ten minute drive from the beautiful beach of Yaliciftlik (Gulf of Gokova) and ten minute walk from the local grocery shop.

Behind the house there is a small track which leads up into the hills covered with rosemary, thyme and a variety of Aegean herbs.

The villa is ideal for people looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay in natural surroundings.

This colourful and stylish house is set on 6000 m³ of land, amidst olive groves and gentle hills covered with Mediterranean flora. It is located close to the pretty fishing hamlet of Gümüşlük, on the south-western side of the Bodrum Peninsula.

It consists of a main house and a small guest cottage. The main house (145 m²) has one luminous living room with open plan fully-fitted kitchen and a fireplace, with large French windows opening out to the shaded patio, the swimming pool and the garden. It has two double bedrooms with ensuite facilities.

The guest cottage is studio-style, with sitting/sleeping area, shower/toilet and a kitchenette.

 This property is tastefully decorated, with elements of modern design combined with traditional objects and fabrics.  It is set in peaceful surroundings and its architecture merges harmoniously with the environment. It has air-conditioning throughout and a garage. It is serviced daily and linens are changed twice a week.

This village house is traditional stone, 50 cm (20 inch) thick walls and built mid-20th century. It is located in the village of Upper Gokcobel, previously a Greek village called Dirmil. It is 5 minutes from Yalikavak and less than 20 minutes to Bodrum city. Standing high and above the other houses in the village allows fabulous views of the mountains, the sea and the harbor of Yalikavak . The house has an extensive veranda/patio where one can relax or have a slow meal while taking in the views. The pool has been built into the natural rock landscape and the view from the pool is rather special.

There is a queen bed in master bedroom with bedroom fireplace. All linens are included. New bathroom with handmade sink, shower and toilet. Hot water throughout. Kitchenette with toaster, grill, coffeemaker, mini fridge, utensils and dishes. Traditional sedir or "U" shaped low cushioned seating which doubles as additional sleeping area in living room. Satellite TV, stereo, CD player. Collections of Turkish antiques decorate this home. Traditional Turkish water fountain on patio as well as extensive cushioned seating areas.

While a car is recommended, the supermarket is only a 5 minute walk from the house. This is a house to use as a base for exploring the area around Bodrum or for simply relaxing.

This charming stone house, built entirely according to original standards and with original materials in 1995 by the owners themselves, is part of a cluster of 9 similar houses and is set in a dramatic location, along a rocky slope overlooking the sea and the Dirmil/Gökçebel Bay. The access by road is nevertheless easy (approximately 30 km from Bodrum town), from the back side (Gündoğan Bay) or the front (Dirmil Bay), but car hire is strongly recommended to those wishing to explore the surroundings.  The entrance is through a stone-paved terrace, with outdoor furniture, and leads directly into the living/dining area with fire-place and the open, fully-fitted kitchen. On this floor there is also a sun-filled study/guest room and, a few steps down, a small bathroom. On the upper floor there is a pretty bedroom and bathroom and a panoramic terrace. The house is tastefully and simply decorated with local artefacts and fabrics and gives a natural feeling of cosiness and well-being.

The caretakers live right behind in separate quarters and ensure daily cleaning, general maintenance and assist in shopping and errands.

The other villas are scattered along the slope, among flower beds and Mediterranean flora: the path leads down to the common swimming pool area with beautiful sea-views and a little further down to the beach, the wooden decks on the water and a couple of nice fish restaurants.

This property is ideal for a couple looking for a quiet environment and scenic views. Rental of neighbouring villas in the same cluster is also possible for parties of several friends.

This property, located in the lovely village of Gürece (approx. 12km from Bodrum centre), is composed of two nicely renovated twin stone cottages, set around a patio/garden which could be partly converted into a gallery where a common kitchen could be built.
